NSConference

Last week I attended NSConference in Atlanta and had a really great time. There were many great speakers, I’m leaving out many, but a few sessions that come to mind include:

  • Aaron Hillegass spoke on BNRPersistence a fast no-sql style persistence engine using Tokyo Cabinet.
  • Matt Legend Gemmell had a great talk and workshop on UI/UX.
  • Drew McCormack spoke on Data Presentation and featured Core Plot
  • Graham Lee on Signing your code, a common headache for iPhone developers and a coming issue for Mac Developers.

Along with what I learned in the scheduled sessions, I learned a lot and got to meet many great people in the hallways and dinners and after our drinks. I really value the Cocoa/Cocoa Touch developer community and I’m happy to be a part of it.

Overall, I highly recommend NSConference and look forward to attending next year. In the mean time, see you at 360iDev in April in San Jose
