BrightKite Client App is in the App Store
The new BrightKite client application is in the app store and it looks really really good. BrightKite is a location aware social network. I worked on this project over the summer and am really happy to see it come out so well. Brady and Martin are great guys and everyone involved deserves a big congratulations.
Just to be clear, I was one of several programmers on the project. I worked on it while in Colorado for part of the summer. Then, when I went back to NYC and the app went to beta, development scaled back and I left the project. The programmers that stayed on did a great job.
iFlashNote is in the App Store
iFlashNote is an application I developed for Rob Dircks. It is a fun little app to show a short phrase or saying on the iPhone screen as large as possible. From their website:
just tap a phrase or smiley -- or type and save your own -- and show it to your friends on that big screen!
- Share a note in a quiet college classroom.
- Tell someone they’re cute at a noisy club or bar.
- Cheer up your friend with a surprising word.
- Say “I love you” in a new, fun way.
- Make your kids laugh uncontrollably.
- Get the bartender’s attention.
- Have fun saying the most with the fewest words.
It is now availble in the App Store.
Rob was a great client and a blast to work with. He was very enthusiastic and knew exactly what he wanted yet flexible with things that could not reasonably be done. He was kind enough to say:
"Julio was rock-solid helping me develop iFlashNote: on-time and error-free, with a total can-do attitude. I highly recommend him!" - Rob Dircks
I look forward to working with him and other clients like him in the future.
